Well, here's me, early 40's, divorced, nearly 5 stone to lose. I've been on so many diets since my early 20's I've lost count. I've reclaimed some of my life since I kicked the cheating b**std out, now I need to reclaim my body. I'd love some friends to help me on the way

MFP is a great place to start your journey. Log every day consistently, see where you are starting from calorie-wise, then start making changes. Weighing/measuring your portions will help you learn what a single portion looks like. Exercising will increase your calorie goal for the day. Drink lots of water as well.0
