Calorie Question

Hello everyone I have a question about calorie counting. Each day I am given 1940 calories to eat and have done a good job staying within that count. If do an hour of Zumba and I burn around 1,000 calories, should I be eating more to make up for the calories I am eating or should I just stay in that 1940 count. Thanks for any help that you can give and hopefully I explained this well enough.

Unless you at wearing a heart rate monitor, I would be conservative at estimating exercise calories. So I'd perhaps only eat back up to half of them? How do you feel and are you hungry?
  • If you're not hungry, then you don't need to eat a ton extra to make up for the work out, as long as you have met or exceeded your original (pre-exercise) calorie goal for the day. If you are hungry, then feel free to eat some more until you feel satisfied. But never force yourself to eat just because you haven't eaten enough to make up for the exercise.
