Looking for some motivation

Hey! I've been struggling with my weight for awhile now. I'm young. I turn 19 in less than 2 weeks. I used to be active as a child. I played softball, track, and I was a year round swimmer. After I got into high school that all stopped due to show choir and my new found passion for chemistry. I am a first year college student at the moment on the path to pharmacy. College is a long six years and that equals no money for anything healthy. If you don't believe me multiply 50,000 by 6. I have been all over the place with diets and exercise. Roller coaster galore on steroids. I can work hard to the point where I am pouring down sweat and not really complain, but this hefty extra weight is just killing me. I started Jan. 2 of this year. I wasn't trying to make a new years resolution. Something just clicked in me and all of the sudden, I didn't think of losing weight as a diet anymore and more like a lifestyle. I would like to lose this weight fast, but slow enough where I can keep my results for a long time. So far I've lost over 4 inches between by waist and hips. I don't have a scale here. I didn't take more measurements at the beginning because I was afraid I would fail. This is where I need your help. I have never had this good of results before in such a short time where I didn't have to starve myself and go to the gym everyday. At the moment I go to the gym 3-4 days a week for 30-60 min and I eat anywhere from 1400-1900 calories a day. Though this can be motivation enough, some times you can get down on yourself and need some extra encouragement, ideas, recipes, and workouts that I can try. I feel like this will work this time! Really! My size 8 dress fits again without me having to suck-it-in for dear life. I can breathe! Thanks MyFitness!
