What is it best to eat before an early morning workout and what's best after?
I am new to exercising and last week I was doing
6AM B'fast 1 Museli or porridge with fruit
Workout at theGym
8:30 Cooked breakfast roll e.g. bacon and egg on bread roll (all counted in my diary before you start ticking me off!)
That all keeps me going till 13h00

Sounds like what your eating is good....at least to me anyway.
I've been told a protien shake 30 minutes or so after working out is really good for you.0 -
I like oatmeal in the morning 'cause it doesn't take up much room in my stomach, but it keeps me full for a long time. I like foods with protein after a workout, so either a peanut butter sandwich or scrambled eggs with cheese.0

After your workout peanut butter, a banana, or milk are all GREAT to have.0
