I am thinking of starting a kettlebell DVD that I saw at target. For those of you that use kettlebells, what do you count them as in your exercise log here...?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I put them under cardio because your heart rate is elevated. I have a HRM and it helps out alot with figuring out the calories.0

I think it can be dependent on what kind of exercises you are doing with the kettlebell. I do a workout called the 300 with them and it incorporates lifting then cardio then lifting then cardio, etc. So I count it as circuit training. I use a HRM and the calories come out pretty close!0

The best site for learning how to use a kettlebell properly is Artofstrength.com. You really need a Russian kettlebell instructor to tell you how to do this properly. There are many kettlebell dvd's out there with improper form. On the Art Of Strength site there are instruction dvd's to check into to learn the proper form. You can get hurt if you are not executing the move properly.0
