"Alternative" meats - where do you buy yours?

I'm quite a fan of more "exotic" meats, but - living in a pretty quiet part of South Wales - there's literally no butchers in my area (especially none within 10-15 miles that stock game, "exotic" meat, and the like) so I'm left with a paltry selection of meat I can get from my local Tesco supermarket. I can't even buy rabbit here.

I'm wondering if people manage to buy theirs locally, because it seems to me these businesses seem to be dying out.

I'm considering venturing into buying meat online, but it's difficult to know which supplier to trust. Does anyone already do this?

I am pretty lucky as there are plenty of butchers and markets locally, how about carboot type places. The big ones generally have a good butcher on site. Or any sort of chinese wholesalers sell almost anything you could ever want or need (and a lot you wouldn't) Or go with the online thing, I have heard good things about it but not used it myself.
