Bump!!! I don't get it

Hi :smile: I am a newbie and have been reading some of the messages on here. Really enjoying the site, I can see there are lots of support and help. I may seem ignorant but why do people just post the word Bump? Confused !! :blushing:

    When you "bump" a post, it will show up in your feed of posts you have responded to and makes it easy if you are following or want to keep it to refer back to.

    A long time ago it stood for Bring Up My Post. It's a handy way to force it back to page 1 if you want more people to see it and here it also puts the topic into your topics so that you can find it again.
