will someone help me figure out my calorie goal?

So I've heard myfitnesspal doesn't give you enough calories. Im 5'10 ,211 lbs, with a goal weight of 165. I only lost .8lbs last week and im pretty upset about it. I try to eat between 1400-1800 calories a day. Anyone know why I didn't lose last week and how many calories I should be eating? I've also been working out three time a week.

.8 lb. per week is a healthy loss. Just keep doing what you're doing.

You did lose last week. You lost .8lbs which is a normal and healthy amount.

I'm 5'10 1/2" and lost my weight using MFP's recommendations. If I remember correctly, MFP had me at about 1400 calories (plus I ate back most of my exercise calories). It can be done. So hang in there, keep logging your food and have a bit of patience.
Your weight loss last week is perfectly on par with what you should expect. More than that and you'll go hungry, which leads to possible failure. Expect to lose an average of about 1 pound a week for a healthy, sustainable weight loss.

^^^This. The closer you are to goal, the more slowly you lose. Read the Sexypants link: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-Sexypants
