Good Morning!

Greetings from Tampa. This filming schedule has been so hectic, I've barely had time to check in. Off to film another America's Favorite Mom candidate right now.

Did 60 minutes on the exercycle last night, with intervals of jumping off and doing jacks, frog jumps and other high-cardio activities to get my HR up.

Goals today:
20 minutes core yoga (done this a.m.)
45 minutes on the bike/ intervals tonight

Eating healthy on the road has been tough. Taking it one day at a time.

Have a great day!

Yesterday, no one showed up to my yoga class except my husband, so didn't do yoga. It's usually a small class anyway, so it's not that unusual. We went for a walk instead. I also did elliptical in the morning.

Today I was considering am spin, but I don't think I have the energy and would have to leave, like, now. I will do BL something instead. Should be a hard day though - I'm trying to make every other day hard. Need to get weights in as well.

Sometimes it's hard to get out of your comfort zone. It's so tempting to just do the elliptical. I'm trying to find balance between pushing myself and saving something for later. I might save spin for after my next exercise plateau.

My gym is going to offer a special training "kick your butt" class in June. It's three hours on Tues/Thurs. I'm not sure how I feel about that. In one way it's tempting to push yourself, other the other hand, you have to wonder what happens after June. I'm not working 3 hours, twice a week, for life.

For the cats and engineer lovers - make sure you get to the cat yodeling at about 5min point:

    Ok, I'll shut-up now.

Today I'm off to the gym and the elliptical. I'm sore from too many lunges and my attempt at running, so hopefully that will warm me up and make me feel better.

Yes, that balance between pushing and taking care of your body is so hard. That's why I'm enjoying the HRM so much. I think I've pushed myself into the "red zone" a lot in cardio. It's a wonder I haven't fallen over. (well, more than I have. . .I'm a fainter.) My heart rate both spikes up and goes back down very quickly.

I've been trying to decide if I want to go really hard every other day, or moderately almost every day. Maintenance continues to mess with my head more than loss. Go figure. Three hours of anything seems terrifying. Yikes.

What is it, Thursday? Happy Thursday!:flowerforyou:

Morning ladies! Exercise wise I spent yesterday at the park for 3 hours chasing after my boys. We had a fun day and were exhausted afterwards. I figured that was exercise enough for the day. I am REALLY struggling with getting back in the groove of diet & exercise. I REALLY want to make this work but my wanting and doing are two different things. Sigh.

Anyway, looks like you all are doing a GREAT job! Keep it up!

Shortly after I wrote my entry, my lovely cat (the grown up version on the one on my shoulder) decided to pierce my upper ear with his claw. I had to pull the claw out of my ear. My whole head heated up - does that count as exercise?

Just had to share that with someone
