My Meal Plan, what do you think?

I'm planning on eating a lot more soup. I've been putting a variety of fresh veggies and chicken into vegetable broth. I'm thinking of cooking a big pot of it to last me throughout the week. I struggle with finding time to cook healthy meals for myself, but I found that soup is easy to heat up real quick and still tastes great. I also want to cut out starchy carbs from my diet because I think thats what I struggle with most. The only carbs I plan on having are oatmeal for breakfast and those little red potatos in my soup (Should I take away all carbs? I thought I might need some at least...)
So basically my plan is;
breakfast - oatmeal, coffee and fruit
lunch - soup
dinner - soup
If I get bored of soup and have time, I'll make chicken and seasoned veggies or something. And I plan on carrying Quest bars with me to school to help keep my hunger down.
You think I can lose weight over time like this?

I think you won't want to live your whole life on soup, oatmeal, and quest bars.

I think weight loss is a very small piece of the picture. For you to sustain your loss and eventually maintain, you need to make habits you can transfer to forever. Eating nothing but soup, oatmeal, fruit, and quest bars isn't going to be enough food. Soups are filling but calories matter. Your body needs X amount to function properly.0
