So I weighed myself last week during my....oh gosh I hate the word "menstrual" so I'll say "monthly" instead. When I weighed myself I had gained 4lbs. I was discouraged but then my MFP buddies told me it was probably water weight. I weighed myself this morning and I have a .7 loss. ( I have lost the initial 4lbs I gained during my monthly plus an extra .7). The thing is, I am bloated & (again I am sorry!) constipated I am also ovulating so could this be why?
When do you weigh yourself? seems like being a woman we only get to 2 times a month to get accurate numbers.
I know I am losing since my jeans fit me again, but the scale can be very discouraging.
Thanks in advance for all your input!

Most women find that they gain weight during their period. It's just one of those side effects, like cramps.

I weigh myself everyday personally to keep track of fluctuations, and to know exactly what my weight is.0 -
There are a bazillion posts on this
Weight fluctuates with PMS, periods, Stress and so on...
The scale is only a number, if you measure yourself you will have a much better idea of your progress0 -
