Help scanning bar code

I can scan the barcode from my App but i cannot see how it can be done from the main web site any ideas please

    as far as i know you can only scan it from the app (so on a mobile phone or tablet), i don't think it assumes that most computers have webcams built in.

    i can't use the barcode scanner on my phone any more as it's android and that crashes the app...

    back to good ole typing and searching for both of us.
