I just joined myfitnesspal last week. I had originally signed up last April, but didn't really use the app. I wish that I would have known what a wonderful app MFP is!
I've done Nutrisystem, Weight Watchers, and many other plans intermittently over the past 6 years, this is by FAR the best. I liked Weight Watchers for the tracking aspect. However, you really didn't pay that much attention to what you were consuming. I love being able to see how much sodium I'm taking in and all of the other nutrients. I thought I was eating fairly healthy, but never really knew what was in some of those "healthy" foods. Not to add that this is a free app and how many people it is helping every day!
I'm new to this journey, but I'm excited and hopeful that I will stay dedicated and that I can be help to others. I love seeing all of the success stories and photos, they are such an inspiration to me.

I have been on my journey for a little over a year now. The daily challenges with food choices and exercise is constant. Maybe that is what we take away from this? As long as there are daily challenges, there are daily choices. Where there are choices, there is the potential for progress. When you no longer have the struggle, you have chosen to give up.
Feel free to join my journey, everyone, and we can share our struggles together.0
