STRETCH MARKS

my mom fed me unhealthy garbage my whole life , when i turned 17 i finally realised i was gaining weight and needed to change the food then lost some weight and now i have stretch marks all over my stomach , sides of my hips, and around the waistline and on the front of my arm (forearms) also on my knees and calves, what can i do now, it feels good to lose the weight but the stretch marks and discoloration from the stretch marks still make me unconformable to go shirtless or even look at myself close up because the white lines show, i have tried bio oil, cocoa butter, they don't seem to work, the stretch marks a while lines, i have also gotten taller since i lose the weight i went from 6ft to 6ft5 in 3 years, could this be the reason for some of the stretch marks?

Yes - stretch marks through puberty are normal.

I got them on my hips and behind my knees when I was going through puberty. Yeah, they suck but they eventually turn a silvery white color (mine did anyway) and you learn to live with them. Honestly i have tried all the products too and nothing works. I think some of us are more genetically prone to them than other.

Just about everyone has at least some. I gained my weight very quickly which caused stretch marks, so I feel your struggle. Honestly, they're not that big of a deal. Other people are unlikely to even take much notice to them.

They may fade a little lighter over time, but overall they're here to stay.
