Oranges have 70 calories eatch, all they are is sour water basically, same for grapes and other watery fruits, it seems like a waste of calories as eating 3 oranges would be 210 calories, of basically water , why would you waste 210 calories when you could of ate 2 chicken breasts , 2 cans of tuna 1 container cottage cheese, 2 eggs , or something solid that you could bite chew and would fill you up instead of them watery oranges,

Because they taste good?
Oranges are such a treat for me, I absolutely love them, I just log them accordingly.
I did give up orange juice, because I think its important to have fiber with the sugars nowadays, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with oranges.
Also, despite being "sour water," it has nutrients in it that are good for you :P0 -
Fibre. Micronutrients. Sweetness. Varying your diet.
I dunno, pick one?
Why eat food if you can get all the nutrition you need from carefully-made paste in a tube?
Seriously, let's all eat space food.0 -
Most people dont eat 3 oranges at a time. So 70 calories for a snack would work for me - plus there is more then just calories...there is also the nutrients you get from different foods.0

I wonder why you keep starting topics like this (see "Makes no sence"). Are you really looking for help or is something else going on?0

How about because they have vitamin C?0

Because you enjoy them?
Sheesh, I can't believe the world is at a point where people are considering turning away fruit because 'omg 70 calories each.'0 -
Did someone tie you down and force you to eat oranges as a child?0

Do you like scurvy? You can pretend you are a pirate I guess...0

Personally, I love them!
Your body needs the water in foods as well as water you drink, to process and absorb nutrients, fibre and toxins. Oranges are also a great source of vitamin c, vitamin a, potassium, fibre and folate. This is why I eat oranges:

That, and they are DELICIOUS!0 -
Oranges are amazing. Not a waste of calories in my book.0

It's a single cell protein combined with synthetic aminos, vitamins, and minerals. Everything the body needs.
I prefer Mudder's Milk. All the protein, carbs and vitamins from your grandma's turkey dinner... plus 15% alcohol.
