Curves Complete HELP!

Hey all,
I started Curves Complete on Monday and yesterday my heart rate was in the 'build muscle' zone, I'm 20 and have about 70 pounds to lose, so don't want to be building muscle! What I am curious about is:
1. Is that the build muscle zone just at curves? seeing as you do more strength than cardio?
2. If i incorporate more walking and cardio based activities, will I lose weight then?
3. has anyone else done curves or curves complete and did it work for you?
4. I haven't been able to start the diet yet cause I haven't got the money to go shopping, do you think they will mind if i start that next week? after all I am the one paying for it!
Thanks, any info you can give me will be much appreciated

Building muscle will help you burn more calories. Your scale might move slower, but you'll still notice the changes in the mirror and in your clothes.0

Yes, you do want to build muscle! Muscle is the tissue that burns calories--the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn, the more you can eat. You're not going to get all big and bulky--women don't have enough testosterone--but you'll get a rockin' bod.
I can't manage to post a pic, but here's an example:

I have never done Curves.
Muscle is a good thing! However it's very difficult to build muscle while on a diet. You do want to strength train while losing to maintain muscle and to ensure that more of the weight loss is fat and not muscle. Your diet should have very little to do with money or having gone shopping recently. Just eat less of the food you do have. There are no special diet foods.0
