Sorry if this is a stupid question but why do I feel hungry right after a workout even though I've eaten way past the recommended amount of calories? Today was a pretty bad day for calories and I exceeded the amount recommended by 400 calories So you would think that the energy used in working out would be taken out of the excess calories. Hence I shouldn't feel hungry right? But I do. Why?

Simply, you actually are hungry.0

Maybe you've created too much of a deficit over the past few days and your body isn't too happy.
No matter; one day over isn't going to ruin all your progress.0 -
