rejoined... waiting on bariatric surgery

Hi Im Jill. I am in the process of being approved for bariatric surgery. I can lose weight, I just can't ever keep it off. Is there anyone else out there that has had surgery, is thinking about it, or is in the process, as I am. I am currenlty at 280 lbs.. 5'7 and obviously have more than 100 lbs to lose. looking for any friends out there in the same position.

I was "sleeved" December 17th. I have already lost 20% of my weight and have 85 lb to go! I am walking, doing the stairs at my work and feeling much better about myself! This is a tool to lose the weight, it works if it is used properly. Follow the guidelines you are given. Congratulations!! I am more confident than I have been in years. I can Exercise without the same pain I had 40 pounds ago and that is a game changer!!!.
