Daily caloric goals according to the food diary

Hi everyone,

I just signed up for MFP and have logged in all the food I had consumed today. However I still have not met my daily caloric goal plus the other things included (carbs, sodium, sugar and protein).

This may be a little bit of a silly question but my question is, does this daily goal for calories (1590cals) take into account my activity levels or is it just for normal day to to day functioning?
