White rice or quinoa?

I LOVE white rice with frozen vegetables, but I want to try with quinoa? Is this the healthier option?

What's wrong with white rice? I only use couscous because it's the easiest one to prepare.0

Nothing wrong. But I think I'm eating it too often. I want to change up a little.0

quinoa is definitely healthier! It's low GI and is far more superior in terms of nutrition. Google it!0

I love white rice, but adding some variety is great! Red quinoa is my fav... it has a rich nutty taste and will leave you satisfied and happy! And it's good for ya! I like to make quinoa patties and pan fry them, yum!0

Thank you, guys. I will definitely try it.0

Quinoa has a lot more protein and the energy is released slowly meaning you're more likely to use the calories rather than store them as fat - also it will keep you fuller and more satisfired for longer.
Brown rice is a healthier option to white rice as well and is cheaper and easier to cook than quinoa.0 -
I find quinoa much easier to cook then rice. And I never have quinoa sticking to the bottom of the pan like I do rice.
On Monday I replaced rice with quinoa for a stir fried rice recipe. It was delicious.
The only time I have white rice now is when I go out for Indian.0 -

Lol, I knew someone was going to suggest that, and my answer is, I don't want one, it is very simple, I have lots of pots and pans and I don't want to clutter up my kitchen (no storage and very little counter space) with more stuff I will only use occasionally plus in the next year I will be moving twice. It is one less thing to pack and move.0
