Body calipers

Hello! I'm wondering where and what kind of body calipers to get. Are there any that are better than others? Is this the best way to measure body fat? Thanks!

Body calipers are absolutely one of the most inaccurate ways to measure body fat. They are often WAY off. I'd suggest, if you want to invest the money, to get a more accurate body fat test done, like DEXA, the bod pod, or hydrodensitometry. Then take the results, do some research on calipers, try and find a professional who can use the properly, and test those results against the ones from the pod or DEXA.
If you don't have the money, the desire, or such aren't available near you, use calipers to measure your diminishing body fat. It's decent for that. But keep in mind that the overall percentages could still be WAY off, especially as you get leaner. I've seen men who clearly had 15-16% body fat believing they were sub 10% because of inaccurate calipers.
Remember that calipers are only as good as the person using them.0
