Calories burned number is dropping

I have been going to cardio classes a few weeks now (Zumba, Turbo Kick Boxing etc..) and I love them. They keep me motivated, like the people and seem to work up a good sweat. However, I have noticed via my HRM that each time I go, I seem to burn less and less calories. I am not sure if I am just not working as hard, but I thought it was a good thing to get to a point where by the middle of the class I was not feeling like I was going to die! However, would the stamina I am building mean that I am going to burn less calories?
As an example.. in Zumba my first week I burned over 450 calories, this week.. only in the 300's

You don't have to work as hard once you start to get fit, so you burn less calories. You either have to increase the intensity or the duration to burn more calories.0
