    Started with just the bar in Dec 2012. 195lbs 30 of it useless:laugh:

    Actual 1RM
    Back squat 275
    Front squat 225
    Bench 145 axle not paused/ 140 normal bar paused booo bench!
    Conventional dead 350

    Haven't ohp in a while. My last was a set of 97x5

    Last weekend was my 21st meet and my first as an M2 (50+) lifter. It was single ply equipped (IPF) and I weighed in at 54.1kg (119lbs). Lifts were

  • Today was week two of heavy weights. I'm certainly not in the big leagues with some of you but I increased my deadlift and squat.

    Deadlift - 132lbs (two reps was max)
    Squat - 132lbs (will increase weight next week since this was not my failure weight)

    I'm still in the learning process of finding my failure weight, light weight and mid weight.

    Still, last week was 88lbs, so I'll take it.

    I wanted to revive this thread because it's inspirational and awesome and I would love to see more posts.:love:

    Here is where I am at:

    Bench: 120
    Back squat: 210
    DL: 205
    Front Squat: 145
    Clean: 120
    OHP: 105
    Lat Pulldown:130

    I can do a couple chin ups but no strict pull ups yet. I can also do dips. I am not making any progress on my deadlifts and have deadlift envy. I started at 200 with no training, train on them every week and am only up to 205. My back squat has gone up 40 pounds in last 4 months and front squat has gone up 50. Clean has gone up 25#. Strange.

    I've gone up some in weight (lifting) but the main difference is that I'm doing some of them on the Swiss ball, so I have to use my core more for stability.

    I have been lifting for a while but was a bit 'aimless' so I started 5x5 and I am on week 11 now:

    I started with the empty bar for everything except Squats and Deadlifts really focusing on form....

    Now I am on the following:

    Squats 95lb
    DL 95lb
    OHP 65lb
    Bench Press 65lb
    Barbell Rows 65lb

    I am also currently working on my chin ups - I do hangs, negatives and inverted rows, can't do a full unassisted chin up yet but I use crossfit bands for assistance and they are really working for me....and I can really feel I am getting so much stronger :smile:

    I usually do in the region of 30 press ups following my 5x5 routine and I work with a 16kg kettlebell in my KB classes....
