Only 5lb lost in 12 weeks? Losing the will to diet.

I've only lost 5lb since the 31st October. How can i speed it up a bit. Admittedly i had a 10 day brake over Christmas so i possibly gained a little but even so. I need to be at a max of 130 by September (preferably 126) Meaning i have between 10 and 14lb to lose. I know that doesn't sound that bad but the 5lb wasn't consistent. I had a problem with some scales so didn't weight myself for a bit and also didn't weight myself for 2 weeks after xmas as i new i had most likely gained and didn't want to be discouraged, so i'm not entirely sure how consistent the weigh loss has been. All i know is i haven't lost anything for a bit. I'm losing the motivation because its getting so hard, I'm always hungry but dont lose. How can i get back on track. I keep saying dont worry you've got ages but i'm scared if i 'dont worry' the time will catch up with me and suddenly i'll only have a few mouths to lose the weight.

Congrats on your loss so far! With between 10 and 15 pounds left to lose, unfortunately it's going to be a slow process. 1/2 pound a week is not unreasonable at this stage.
That said, we can't see your diary so it's tough to give advice on what else you could do. How accurately are you tracking your food intake? Are you usinga food scale, measuring cups, or eyeballing portion sizes? Are you eating back any of your earned exercise calories and if so are you using a heart rate monitor or MFP/machine estimates?0 -
Why do you need to change anything? You've lost 5 lbs in 12 weeks and didn't even "diet" the whole time. If you continue to lose at that rate, you will have lost much more than 10-15 lbs by Sept.0

Thank You! I weigh my food/count very carefully. i'm not always on the food diary as i dont have the app and cant get on my laptop for it everyday. I only really eat 1200 or less (i know i shouldn't eat less but sometimes i just cant help myself) sometimes 1300. Although yesterday i had a very guilty binge but i haven't really dont this before.0
