So I bought a fitbit zip today... All I care about is the calories burned to make sure I'm at a deficit compared to my TDEE. I have an iPhone 4 so as luck would have it fitbit only syncs with iPhone 4S and newer, great!! I need some help just to make sure I'm doing this correctly to manually enter fitbit adjustment. My TDEE is 2449, I want to lose two pounds or week so I need 1000 cal a day deficit so I'm going to have 1400 calories a day. I need to be sure fitbit reads at least 2449 right? And if it's reads 2649 (for example) would I enter 200 into exercise as fitbit adjustment?? (I realize I'll need to recalculate my TDEE for every 5 pounds lost). Please shed some light!!!!

If you have your fitbit synced with MFP it will do the math for you and add in your fitbit adjustment itself.0

Go to apps and select fitbit, it will sync with mfp automatically.0

There's a whole forum for fitbit, too. I've started following that for some helpful suggestions.
