Smoothies- When do you have them

So I am new to smoothies and not a very big fruit eater but hey- I am game this month to try. So, I see several good recipes but my question is - when do you make them? Always for Breakfast or a Meal replacement? Do you make low calorie ones and have with a small meal (?) or as a late night snack? Do you have any success making them ahead and leaving in the fridge.
I am terrible in the morning and looking for other ways to fit them in. -

I don't have smoothie rules. Sometimes I have calories open and feel like a smoothie, so I make a smoothie. If I have macro needs, the smoothie can solve those, whatever they are.

I have a smoothie most days for breakfast. I also might have another small one later if I need to boost my protein intake for the day (I make mine with whey protein powder). I also often have one after a long workout when I am hungry but solid food makes me nauseous. I have not had luck with storing them in the fridge. I use frozen fruit and I don't like the way the consistency changes when it thaws out.

Obviously, it's whatever works for you, but I find that for lunch or dinner a smoothie isn't filling enough. After a workout, as a snack, and for breakfast works for me.
