Hi guys!
I need new athletic shoes. BADLY! lol!
I'm not a runner though I do a lot of cardio. And my lower back is sensitive and I need to be careful of it. Any recommendations of shoes you have tried that you love??

Hi Im a runner who used to use supportive cushioned shoes like asics Kayano's but I recently moved to minimalist flat type runners and Im a convert, my physio recommended them as it will also sort out my running style.
I took 45 seconds off my 5km time last week and it flet great feeling the ground underneath me as opposed to 'running on pillows'
Under armour do a great shoe called 'charge RC2' I love them.0 -
I've heard good things about these shoes, but that might be a bit too radical for what you're looking for:

Supposedly, back pain can be naturally alleviated by changing your walking/running mechanics to use the front part of your foot rather than hitting your heels constantly. I'm not sure if it works, or if it scientific, but I figured I might throw it out there in case you're interested in experimenting.0 -
You can get fitted for shoes that match your feet and gait.0

There are a lot of good shoes out there. I recently purchased shoes specifically for Zumba, wore them for 4 weeks. 2 classes a week and realized it wasn't the right shoe for me. They made my feet hurt. I called the company and told them. They let me return the shoes and order another pair that had more support. The key to any future sneaker purchase for me is to make sure I can return them if they don't feel right. Good sneakers aren't always cheap. My shoes were New Balance. Good Luck!0
