Songs For Cardio

I was just wondering what everyone's top three favorite songs to do cardio to happen to be. I've been working out for just over six weeks now and am finding my tunes are getting a bit old already.

Also if anyone needs a friend for support or motivation please feel free to add me.

    Hi there,

    Check out the app Pandora.
You enter an artist you like and it creates a playlist with similar tracks.

    I love it for cardio!

There is only one artist to listen too.......

    One name for all occasions........

    Barry Manilow

Actually I like Jog.fm too. I can pick my desired beat range and then see what songs I have already that are in the speed range i want. I have such a variety of music I listen too, depending on my mood.

I get all my music premixed (not original artists) and like "old school" music. Here's one of the one's I use for class and listen to also:

    It Takes Two

    Rapper's Delight

    It's Like That

    Word Up

    Turn This Mutha Out

    It's Tricky

    Brick House

    Unbelievable

Fight For Your Right To Party

You Dropped a Bomb On Me

    Ring My Bell

    Jam It Out

I actually listen to a 90s pop station on Pandora. I feel dorky (in an awesome way), but I actually got excited when N*Sync and Backstreet Boys played back to back. And I have lots of Hootie and the Blowfish on that station :) But if you're a 90s child, it works :)
  • If you listen to one song, just one, PLEASE listen to Dead American by Anberlin. After you fall in love with that, which you will, try The Resistance and Someone Anyone by them. They are my favorite band ever, and they ROCK for work outs... And all other times of the day.

  • Right Now - Ray Volpe
    Fight Dub - Ray Volpe
House of Balloons - The Weeknd

Okay, so Britney Spears - Work B*tch, Beyonce - Flawless, and Lady Gaga - Donatella. Not only are they awesome and upbeat, but the first two actually help..."get into the zone" per se? They just make me feel good about myself! Though I do feel weird feeling good when Britney calls me a b. Hmm. Nevertheless, awesome tunes for getting up to dance!

    Some of my faves include:

Christina Aguilera: ain't no other man, dirrty, candyman, show me how you burlesque

Pink: Get the party started, stupid girls, raise your glass

When I am in a blues mood I go for Janiva Magness, especially the song "Use what you got"

    Pretty much anything Pitbull

    Ciara: work

Nickelback and Theory of a Deadman when I don't want pop music.

I always have to have plenty of Prince in a workout playlist too. :)
