Hi I just started. I want to take my measurements to track my progress and I am a little confused.

Am I supposed to measure my waist at the smallest part or across the belly button?

Am I supposed to measure the top of my hips or the biggest part of my butt?

I measure both. At my belly button and where my pants hit (about 1.5" below my belly button) for "Waist". Then I measure across my upper hips, then across my butt/pelvic bone to get "hips" measurement.

Measure everything you want to see changes in. Arms, neck, legs, waist, hips,,, chest. You can add measurements into your dateabase.

This is what I do. I have an entry for "Waist" (smallest part), "Stomach" (across belly button), and "Hips" (around the widest part of hips/butt).

I measure my waist, being the smallest part of my body, then around my belly button and the largest part of my hips/butt.
