When you sit at desk your job all day

I LOVE Fitnessaddict90's post about the restroom workout. I'm totally gonna start doing that! What else can you do if you sit at an office job all day if you don't want to look too silly!

    Your job?

Seriously though, little things add up. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park farther away from the building, go for a walk (or run or workout) at lunch time, get up and walk for a few minutes every hour ( I print to a printer farther away from my desk).

If you have a private office you could probably close the door now and again, do some squats, plank for a minute etc.......

heard that. I try to go to the gym and go on the elliptical for even just a half hour on my lunch break. more than anything it just breaks me down and releases the built up feelings I have of sitting all day.

I've got a stretch band that I use to do a quick dozen arm curls, etc. Also, when I get up for anything, I do some stretches and squats.

I like the idea of printing to a printer further away. A friend of mine always goes to use the bathroom on a different floor each time.

What is the "restroom workout"? LOL

I usually just try to get a walk in during the day at lunch time.

BrianSharpe I can't edit my dumb subject line! LOL! I'm glad it made your day :)

NM212 I don't know how to post a link in my topic but look here in the Fitness and Exercise Topics posted by Fitnessaddict90's. It says to do 5 squats every time you use the restroom. That is INGENIOUS

I do leg lifts under my desk, push ups on my desk, take the long way to co-workers offices or break room, use the stairs vs elevator.

    Just move more!!
