    When you go to get the skis out of your Tulle Rack, and you can't because the lock is frozen...clearly Mother Nature is trying to tell you it is too cold to ski!

    It was -30 a few days ago, -11 this morning. It hasn't gone above 0 since Sunday. Will you please take this from me?

    *when your pipes are all frozen and you're okay with that because it is too cold in the house to take a shower anyway.

    When you spit, and it turns to ice before it hits the ground. My friend in Barrow, AK has experienced this. -80 without windchill.



    we did the coffee trick in Tok, Alaska.. -54.. very cool to finally see it happen.

    I live in Anchorage and we are getting near 50 degrees. But prob next week will be 20 below. The coffee thing has not worked for me in Anchorage area.

    You guys are getting the warm air because the polar air moved down here, is what the weather service is saying.

    Something like that. I just know each time the lower 48 got cold weather we get freezing rain.

    When your dog that loves the outdoors and cold weather...quickly does her business and starts running back to the house to get inside.

    try having to force your dog outside to do her business because she rather just not go.

    try carrying a dog and a toddler inside because the toddler wants to take of her gloves and grab at the snow and the dogs paws start freezing, all while the little tot is throwing a tantrum :D

    You stop the gas pump earlier than your intended/regular fill up amount because it is too damn cold!
    The metal of your septum ring feels like it is freezing your septum tissue...ok, maybe that is just me...
    The fluid in your eye feels like it is freezing.
    Your lighter won't work.
    I put on a coat...I never wear coats.
