Macro settings

I feel like I've been posting up a storm so please excuse me if you've seen my name pop up more than once today!!

I'm reading a lot about setting proper macros but I'm not sure how to determine them. MFP's estimate seems a little carb-heavy, and I was wondering if there was a website or book/resource to help determine what the macro settings should be?

Much appreciated!

It looks like a lot of reading, but it's not... can even skip to the "Macronutrient Needs" if you know your caloric intake and just want advice on filling it out.

There is no single answer for how to set your macros. Generally, you want to make sure you get enough protein (0.65-0.85g/lb of LBM) and then go from there. It's fine to go over your protein allowance but you should try to avoid undershooting your protein macro too often. I would say experiment with your macros and see if you're happier with more carbs, less carbs, etc.
