Small utensils

I'm sure someone has mentioned this before, but I thought I would give it as a tip anyways. I find that if I use smaller utensils, I eat more slowly and I feel more satisfied with my food. The idea is to allow your body to tell you it is full when it is, instead of ten minutes after and you have continued eating.

I have done this also, I even use my grandchildrens small plates. I have even went as far as to using a timer. I eat fast, I wanted to see if it would help me slow down. Hey what ever work I say is a good thing.0

I always use the smaller bowls, plates and utencils --its a great way to focus on what you eat and the time it takes to eat it.0

When I get ice cream, I ask for a sample spoon instead of the regular kind... it makes a small size feel like a medium :]0
