period (females only)

I'm 18 and i haven't gotten my period since september of 2012. Well during that time, i was at the worst of my ed and i had went from from 128 to 106-109 in a few months.i tried recovery in march and i ate really healthy, enough foods and i was weight lifting about 5x a week. i dont know what i did wrong because during that entire period my BF stayed at 21% and even got to 25%. i don't understand, i think it may have been a glitch or something because i was eating about 1500 calories and i'm 5'3. so obviously i'm not underweight however i still don't have my period. i went to a doctor and we did a blood test and she said i was fine. she told me to take the pill but i don't ever take pills or medication and it also causes weight gain so thats not happening. does anyone know why i don't have it anymore

The pill does not cause weight gain. That is a myth.

By suffering and ED you may have messed up your hormones. The pill regulates hormones.

Not a doctor but since your doctor recommended it, I would try it
