What are the best nuts for fiber and calories but not too high fat wise? Are nuts better straight from a tree than from a bag in a shop? Was shocked at how much fat is in walnut halves.

Lol, yeah, I laughed, too.
Pulling from memory, raw almonds are the best source, though all true nuts are great. And those you typically find in the bags in the produce department versus jars or cans in the snack aisle usually come straight from a local farmer.0
