I would love to hear stories from women who did it. Women who achieved their goals and are right where they want to be. I have had thee children all within four years. I am 22 and I have about 40 lbs to lose. I will get there but are there any other woman that have Loss a substantial amount of weight and are thrilled? My biggest fear is my skin not being oh so tight as it was before. Please share your stories, it motivates me!

I lost 40 lbs and got to my goal. However I did gain 10 back through the summer. This summer has been one of the busiest summers I have ever had. From BBQ's to birthdays, plus I got married in April and I swear when you say I DO 10 lbs automatically packed on.....LOL! Believe me it can be done. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but once you start losing it just seems like it keeps falling off.0

Well, I am almost where I want to be . I turned 26 in July.
I have a 6 year old daughter. I have struggled with my weight since my daughter was born.
So far I have lost 60 pounds. I am very happy about it. I'm 5 foot tall, so I need to lose another 25 pounds to be where I want.
I has taken me a year to get from a size 22 to a size 11 .
It is not always easy!! Some times I gain back weight.. The most important thing is NEVER give up.
About the skin... I was 100 pounds over weight, and after losing 60 pounds so far.. I have no 'extra" skin.
I do have stretch marks .. but no losse skin. With exercise you can tone your body.
Losing weight = getting healthy . It does not happen over night.. but if you really want it
You Can Achieve it!! Best of luck to you, I know you can do it!!0 -
I'm not exactly where I want to be just yet, but I am much farther than my original goals I set at the outset of this adventure.
In January I started dieting with the intention of losing 40 lbs. I've since lost 66 and I'm back into a size 12. (I'm 5'10")
I am 26 and the last time I was this size was around 1999. LOL. I did SlimFast and refused to eat to get there back then. After ending my stint of not eating (and quit taking ephedra-based diet meds) I put on some weight. Then I got married. Married weight. Then I got fibromyalgia brought on by severe hypochondria. Bring on the depression weight.
But now I am working out and eating right and actually having fun doing it. My husband and I play sports together, I go for long power walks with a friend of mine where we get to vent and talk (also healthy!). The food we eat is REALLY good. While I'd like to shave off another 9-10 lbs I'm excited to be where I am. It's a full 26 lbs farther than I first intended (my pessimistic goals) and I feel prettier and better about myself. And I'm at a healthy BMI. I can't express the joy I have at not being "overweight."0
