Can anyone recommend a good heart rate monitor?

    Polar seems to be the most popular. The FT4 is pretty affordable and cover what most people need. The FT7 adds some extra things. Price between the two can be extremely close. If you have an iPhone or other compatible phone/device you can look at the Polar H7. I bought one today and using an app it sends the calories burned directly here, pretty slick.

    I've got a Polar H7 and it links seamlessly to my iPhone. Very clever. Lower calorie count than MFP though. :sad: :smile:

    Lower but I'd argue more accurate since it knows actually what's going on.
