Here are some ways that are helping me Trick Myself Skinny.
1. Drink a bottle of ice cold water first thing in the morning. Very important. Cuts out over 200 calories through the day.
2. Eat on smaller plates, your eyes process your hunger, your eyes are bigger than your stomach. The more your plate is covered, the more your mind thinks it's eating. It doesn't matter if it's a big plate, or it's a small plate. Your eyes send signals to your brain on the white of the plate.
3. Drink a bottle of warm water before a meal. Cold water treats thirst more than hunger (except in the morning), and it settles in the stomach in a slower way, causing the stretch receptors.
4. Write down what you're going to eat, carry around a small notepad, and write it down before you eat it. That's very important. Instead of looking back at what you did eat. Look at what you are eating before you eat, and you'll often find yourself making healthier choices, or better portion sizing, cause you'll be a
5. Eat your vegetables first, everything else second. With the exception of protein in the morning and nuts and fruits as snacks, I eat 4 meals to 5 meals a day, and two to three of them are solely vegetables.
I've dropped a total of 16 inches combined in my midsection, nearly 5 inches just off my waist . I've dropped 20 pounds. I'm Starting the 5th week of this journey.
One other major technique to suppress your hunger.
HIIT exercise. HIIT exercise can be done with body weight, it can be done with free weights, it can be done with cardio, it can pretty much be done anywhere, at any time, with any form of exercise. But I have not found a better way of working out. One of my favorite workouts right now is the Max Interval Training (you can google it and you'll get the work outs free, and a fun countdown clock). The initial workout is Push-ups, Squats, Lunges, and Planks, fifty seconds on, ten second break, and it's a sixteen minute workout.
