Ate more and my face went down...

I took advice from a lot of threads who've been in the same position. I noticed my face was bloated from eating a lot of chocolate one week and it didn't go down till today.

What I did was eat 1800 calories on Thursday then 1600-1700 on yesterday and my scale is showing up only 0.5lbs over the past two days, but that's not entirely accurate as I think it's also due to non-bowel movement so far.

As well as eating a lot more calories than normal (1400-1500) I drank 4 glasses of water Thursday & Friday, what is happening here exactly? Why did my face go down (which I assume is water retention I'm not entirely sure).
