B, if I have happen to have a small size around... different brands run a little different, so sometimes I'm a 5 in one size and an 8 in another. Who knows. Or C, because I don't keep that many pairs of pants around. Especially if they don't fit anymore!

I tighten my belt until they definitely don't fit me, then buy new ones :) though I generally always have something stored to shrink into :)

Very disappointed by this thread. I was thinking it was something else.

I wait until there are a couple of sizes to jump down, and then go shopping again... at the Salvation Army store. I'm only going to be in them for a couple of months. There is no point in spending a lot of money on new clothes.

I have so many different sizes of clothes (because I never get rid of any) so I just go looking for the next smaller sizes

So far I've only lost one size so I just go through my existing clothes because I have lots of things ranging from size 12 to 16. If and when I get too small for those, I'm going shopping!

    C.

Gets tiring shopping every single time you need new clothes. I do go clothes shopping, though, but only once the pants are about 3 sizes too big. Until then. It's to the belt.

    D.

Buy news pants. Buy them cheap, buy them for function only. (I just did this today)

There'll be plenty of time for fashion when I'm at a weight I'll be satisfied with long term.

It's going to be B or C for me. I still have clothing in my closet dating all the way back to highschool. In fact, anticipating an NSV post next month involving a dress from college (that would be 12 years ago, but who's counting  ). I can wear it now, but it's still a little tight through the bust.....

If, for what ever reason, I don't already have a smaller option, then whatever IS available is going to get worn until it is falling apart, or completely falling off.

Also, agree with previous posters, dresses and skirts are MUCH easier during weight loss.

C.and what kind of packrat freak even HAS stored clothing?
    D. Other (please describe)

    Ha! I do.
Mine is part C and part D. I have clothes in all sizes all the way back down so i don't have to wear something that doesn't fit.

I have however, started giving away the substantially bigger clothing because I think counting calories with MFP I'll actually be able to keep it off this time.
  • A- I wear my jeans until there are holes in the thighs!
