reaching daily calories question

Recently learned I should probably be eating at least some of my exercise calories but my meal plan before learning this was for 3- 300 calorie meals, and 2- 150 calories snacks. In order to get up to my 1700 calories, I obviously want to eat healthily but I'm just not sure how to get up there in a healthy manner. Should I just eat stuff like nuts which are good for you but also high in calories?

I don't think it necessarily matters how you get there. You could up one of your meals by a couple of hundred calories (not hard to do at only 300 calories/meal). You could add another snack. You could add a small dessert. Lots of options.0

Start by eating back half your calories.
