I was tempted to put this in Chit-Chat, but I figured this might be more relevant here
Hi all! Today I'm going to be a "bad" person. I'm not going to work out. Instead, I'm going out to a girlfriend's house for her birthday. There's going to be food. Probably a good amount of cake. I'm going to eat it all. And I'm not going to log any of it.
Will I gain a pound or two (or three, or four...) over the weekend? Uh, yeah. Will I deflate back to my current-weight by this time next week? Most likely. Tomorrow I'm going to do both today's workout, and tomorrow's workout. I'll pick back up where I left off, and continue my downward trend.
Don't forget that weight loss is a lifelong journey. Don't deprive yourself of the everyday (and once-a-year) joys. I don't schedule my treat (they are NOT cheat) days, they just kind of happen. :laugh: :drinker:
