Found out my C Reactive Protein is high (heart disease risk)

I'm freaking out! Doctor's appointment is tomorrow. I'm overweight, I'm stressed to the max, I used to drink and smoke heavily... Now I'm afraid I'm going to die from a heart attack. I'm hoping maybe it's not right or maybe there's another explanation for it. My aunt-in-law (nurse practitioner) says doc might put me on a statin. I'm just so scared and worried.

Anyone else have this happen?

Many people have had scares or hurdles with health issues here.

Easier said than done, but try not to stress over it. Hopefully you will have the answers you need from the doc. You will feel better regardless once you have those answers.
