Hello Everyone! This might be TL;DR but work with me here!

I am a 43 yr old girl who suffers from Bipolar II, Severe Depression, Anxiety and ADHD. I use to work part time at a gym, was a fitness model for 3 years and exotic dancer for 15 years. After a bad car accident I was forced to give it all up in 2004. I started to gain a little fluff back then but was still active enough to keep it off. I had to take care of my grandmother in her last 3 years of life and all that grandma sitting started to take its toll on my physical appearance. After she passed in Nov 2010 I had a severe breakdown and didn't leave my house or do anything but watch TV and read everything I could get my hands on. I managed to gain a whopping 40 lbs. and have been struggling it ever since. I am also sure the hitting 40 thing didn't help either. I am now well medicated and those of you who also are or have been in the past know that these drugs can cause weight gain.
So sob story is over about how I got here. I am here because I started to come back out into the world back in late July. I am feeling good and am more social. Well I dress pretty and look healthy but my clothes are all too tight and shopping is a never ending nightmare. I am now wearing a size 14-16 and X-Large to 1X tops, weigh 184ish and am only 5'3 medium build, I was never petite. I am no longer comfortable in my own skin so I decided its time to take me back. I wanna lose this 40 lbs before spring. This summer I wanna wow the crowds once again even if its just the local pub or social gathering. I took a lot of pride in my physical health (and my wicked abs) and would love to get that all back again. (oh to be 30 again)
Tuesday (1/ 21/14) I started back on my treadmill (baby steps). I haven't had much physical activity in a while so I am starting slow. 20 mins was the start now I am up to 30 mins but still only about speed 2. I also have a Wii Fit Plus that I played with the first day (found out when I did the body test I had lost 12 lbs somewhere :D ) . I am gonna get some stamina with the treadmill first and after 2 weeks incorporate the Wii into the plan. I also have Debbie Siebers "Slim in 6" that I might use after a while for a change up and maximum burn. There is a gym here in town but I live in Michigan and its been the arctic front this winter. I figured I have a treadmill and programs, even some ankle/wrist weights, some resistance tubes. And If I look hard enough there might be a core training ball.

So I am looking for a few buddies I can check in with to be supported and to support. My Facebook peeps are nice about it but I am sure the posts about my treadmill usage and fitness updates are gonna bug them eventually. I eat healthy, I love to cook my own stuff from scratch with fresh as I can get ingredients. No outta the can into the pan or microwave. Love to share recipes and eating tips. As I said before I am in Michigan and like to be active outdoors in the summer. So no matter where you are or who you are lets do this together and come out of our winter cocoons like sexy butterfly's!
