What's your excuse?

Options
Let me cut right to the point. A lot of us have some weak-*kitten* excuses for why we can't accomplish our goals. Here are my thoughts on the matter:

A guy I went to high school with went to Afghanistan and got 3 of his 4 appendages blown off. He is the quintessential American GI. He is a hero and I look up to this guy. Every time I feel like complaining, or start making excuses about why I can't accomplish my goals, I think about this guy.

A girl I went to college with, who has two kids, and by far the hardest worker I have ever met (she went through a computer science program while being a nurse), now has stage 3 lunch cancer. She is fighting for her life. I also look up to her, and every time I feel like complaining I think about this woman.

These people have good excuses for not accomplishing their goals. What's yours?

Too tired?
Too broke?
Too scared?
Too depressed?
Too sore?
Too sick?
Too... full of bull, most likely.

So, the next time you start making excuses, just remember:

"too cold" - "too Hot" - "no time"- "lots of time I'll do it later" My daughter was born with a degenerative bone disease that affects her right arm. She has 12 Varsity Letters from high school. If she can do it, I can too.
