Afternoon! Hope it's beautiful where you are! The sun & warmth have come out for a day in the Ozarks and we are taking advantage before the arctic temperatures return tomorrow.

So, Valentine's Day is coming up and this will be my husband and I's 8th one together. February 12th is also our anniversary of being together. We've done a little bit of everything, dinner out, dinner in, scavenger hunt, chocolates, stuffed animals, flowers, etc...

I'm more of the romantic one in the relationship & he's not big into sweets (there goes 65% of the ideas I could use! lol) I need some ideas for this year. I need something new, something fresh. We're gonna spend the weekend before out of town since we have to get our car serviced so it's not an option to go anywhere, but other than that, I'm definitely open to ideas.

And...I should probably learn not to type novels.

Psh, you call THAT a novel? Lol.

Would help a bit more if you described what you've already done in the past, since you don't want a repeat event :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

Sinisterly - it felt like one! lol. :) Ummm, like I said, we've gone out for dinner, stayed in for dinner (he and I have both cooked), I've sent him on a scavenger hunt (again, note, I'm more the romantic type  ) & when he came home there was a candlelit dinner & me...not dressed in too many clothes  & a pathway of roses to the bedroom. He's brought me flowers & a stuffed animal or two. He cooks me dinner every year and I do the same for him, I just want something different. I feel like it's the same thing over & over again & I need some variety!

Miss Saturday - dang...I forget about that every time!!!! Should probably try & remember that this year.

Have you considered taking the scavenger hunt to a cabin, perhaps? You could rent out a cabin (before anyone else does if it's not too late lol) and have it there, but also outside. A nice relaxing picnic by the lake.. Romantic!!
