Not-fried corndogs/White Trash Cornbread

Ingredients: hot dogs, cornbread mix, egg, milk, oil


Directions: Mix cornbread with egg milk and oil as directed. Cut up hot dogs and stir into mix. Grease pan and bake as directed. Let cool.


Cut and serve with mustard, hot sauce or desired condiment(s).

    How so? Not enough protein? Too many carbs?

    Omit the dogs. Chop up some habanero peppers and chorizo for simplicity. And an addition of corn kernels and beans for extra heartiness.

    Italian trash version:

    Spicy italian sausage

    Polenta

    Pecorino cheese

    Mozzarella cheese

    Eat like an Italian peasant, be happy like Italian royalty.
