Need a good low-cal bun/bread for bison burgers
I have some really nice lean bison that I am going to make into burgers for my family tomorrow. If I can't find a whole grain bun that is low in calories that tastes pretty good, I was going to do them on lettuce "buns" but I was hoping someone has a recommendation. I have access to all sorts of awesome stores, Central Market, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Trader Joes to name the best.

Bison is really good meat, I wouldn't use them on lesser tasting bread just because it's "healthier". I'd suggest the lettuce option before doing that.0

Portobello mushrooms can work well if you like mushrooms. Just remove the gills and stem and fry with some PAM in a frypan until they are softened up
