A costly NSV

So I've noticed my pants have started feeling looser all around. They still fit because when I started they were skin tight, but now they no longer are. That's the obvious NSV, of course. This is the not so great side effect: I am no longer allowed to put anything in the (admittedly very shallow) pockets of these jeans because everything just keeps flying out of them! I nearly lost my Amex card at the vet this weekend because it fell out of my pocket, and I lost a white and blue sapphire ring down the poop-filled toilet at work before that! I had to order a new one. I mean, it "only" cost $55 because it's created sapphire and that's really not expensive at all as far as jewelry goes, but that's still $55 I'm out now to replace it. And I'm pretty sure this is happening because my pants are looser because before I lost the weight I did an entire theme park with cards in my pockets and didn't lose them and it only just now started.

so... yay. I guess. :S

i would just like to express my sincere gratitude at your correct usage of "looser" and "lose"

and also: congrats on the weight loss - get smaller pants, or carry a purse?

It'll be even more costly when you need to buy smaller clothes lol

    Congratulations!

(And I second the thanks for correct use of loose/lose lol)

Congrats on your weightloss! And you probably needed a smaller ring anyway.

I started last May...not one piece of clothing left in my closet, that was in there last May.....I'm 5 sizes down, about one more to go, not complaining, just saying....

Congrats! Well...not on losing the ring, but you know (hopefully!) what I mean. lol

I understand what you mean about your clothes fitting better, and second what jetlag says about needing to buy smaller clothes. Thank goodness I'm too cheap, & I only bought 1 new pair of jeans as now THOSE are getting too big on me! Once you hit a stride, and start going through your closet, you will get a huge kick at looking at all your clothes & realizing how fantastic you look!

Well I do carry a purse but I will "downsize" to only the essentials (phone, id, credit/debit card) if I have to walk for an extended period (such as a theme park) or if dealing with the purse is unwieldy (like when trying to wrangle my 65 lb Ibizan Hound puppy at the vet).

The ring still fits, I didn't need a new size on that, lol.

And thanks, I'm just naturally good at my native language. *primps hair* lol
