Excess Skin prevention - creams to use, tricks, tips

Hi
Since september I've lost around 5 stone and really happy with how it's going
I've got in shape and got healthy and feel great!
Considering the size I was and weight I've lost I haven't got much excess skin. But it's starting to show now at the base of my stomach. As I go through these final stages to a flat stomach I'd hate to be left with excess skin - making me more embarresed of my body than when I was fat! The irony!
So just wondering what I can do to limit it - if not get rid of it (I doubt this is possible but if there are prevention methods or ways to limit it's severity I'm all ears!)
Are there any skin creams, lotions, oils that firm up the skin of the stomach that you'd recommend?
Any exercises or yoga or anything I can do that will work on that excess skin.
Does it slowly go on it's own or will I be stuck with the excess skin for life (Surgery isn't an option due to money!)
Any little things I can do that are tips, tricks etc
Thanks in advance
